Ian
A silver `colt',struck circa 360 -300 BC, from the Corinthian colony of Anaktorion which was situated on a promontory at the entrance to the Ambrakian gulf in Acarnania. A nice relatively high grade and very affordable ancient coin.

Saor Alba
The design is one of the classic ones of Greek coinage, and they were no strangers to flattery in copying coin designs from other states when they saw something worthwhile. I have one from Syracuse that also "borrows" the design - the only difference with it is the triskeles and the legend.
Ian
I've also got one from Corinth itself but it's not a particularly brilliant example. I've been trying to resist the urge to start a type set for each of the city states that issued these `colts'. There's quite a few of them, and with some it can prove to be quite challenging to differentiate which `colt' came from which city state.
