Mollygirl
I was recently going through my dads things and found a few interesting coins and need help in finding information on these and the values. The first coin is a 1960 Juliana Koningin Der Nederlanden 2 1/2 G on the back is what looks a coat of arms with a lion holding a sword in one hand and twigs in the other with crown on the top of the coat of arms. Seems to be in excellent condition. Any help is appreciated!
constanius
Hi, welcome Info from this site "Netherlands, Kingdom : KM-185 : 2 1/2 Gulden (Silver): 1959-1966 O Queen Juliana right O JULIANA KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN R Crowned arms, Lion rampant left holding sword R date 2 1/2 G NEDERLAND" IMHO .720 purity silver and should weigh right around 15 grams. So, depending on silver price, approx $11 for melt(worn coins, as relatively new & common) but as a collectible coin $15-20 depending on its condition.
