Actually here is easy to get soviet coins and it's nothing to cost. I've got about 500 soviet coins like 1961-1991 years. Is it hard to find in your country? And somebody collect anniversary coins 2000's? PS. Sorry for my english
ikaros
20 kopeks on down are pretty easy to find; the local coin shop usually has quite a few in their foreigns chest, with the bulk dated after 1961. Occasionally a 50 kopek turns up. I've a few post-Soviet issues, but I mostly look for Soviet-era issues. There's something fascinating about their uniformity. And don't worry about your English, it's far better than my Russian!
Saor Alba
I have a pile of USSR coins that I saved from circulation when they were still being used. Now I find when I am back there that it seems like some people sell these coins for high prices to tourists. For my kids, they think these old coins are fascinating and I remember my son buying up some USSR rubles, when I didn't know he did. Otherwise I would give to him the old ruble notes. Somewhere the other day I found a 1989 kopek coin that I must have had in pocket change one time and sort of lost.
