Jetons were struck fairly regularly, although not annually as is the case for many of the royal departments. frank Posted August 18, 2011 Report Share Posted August 18, 2011 Before I had to sell a bunch of jetons to pay some bills, I had a long series of these COMITIA BURGUNDIAE pieces, which are 1) beautifully done; 2) often available in good quality; 3) closely tied to historic events, which makes them great learning opportunities; 4) produced over quite a long period; and 5) well-documented in a few old French catalogues easily found online.
