Another great sample find

I can't believe I won these two samples for $1.29 each.

If you go by today's market I did very well indeed, with samples that are not so rare, for now commanding very high prices.

I have not seen these come up for auction very often or at all, I really don't remember them going up for auction in quite a long time

but I am sure they have been. PCGS has no population reports on any sample so no one knows how many where made and I can't believe I won these two samples for $1.29 each.

All I know is they are another nice example of early sample slabs.

I hope you enjoy them

Nice slabs and great price. I think in PCGS language that means the coin is genuine but for some reason - cleaning, alteration, etc, not gradeable.
