I really like this coin, not worth alot, but I like it.

Km#799 Silv 5 Francs, 1861-70 VF $15.00

Here lies my ?, This can't be a VF, maybe Good ?

So what would the Grade/Value be ? Just the bullion Silv value ?

F. Most well circulated French silver of Napoleon III and later is pretty much BV these days, which is somewhat unfortunate if you're a collector since some dealers will just scrap them without giving it any thought.

Thanks ccg, thats along the same line as I was thinking BV.

Saw 1 go for $85 on ebay, I guess they really wanted it, so I decided to ask about mine, not that I'd sell it.

Noticed that the Un Peso were BV now also.

That, or perhaps it was one of the keys.

With that much hairlining I think even ten years ago it probably would had been BV. Most Mexican "crown sized" (silver dollar sized) silver coins from the 1920s-70s in EF-AU have always been traded for BV or a small premium, making them a fun series to collect.
