Chris86
Hi, I just went through my 1943 Steel pennies and noticed that one of them has a very faint "4" in 1943 (pictured). The overall condition seems to be about AU-UNC so this is definitely not due to wear. I did a quick search online and couldn't find any other coins with the same issue. Does anyone know if this is a variety or an error? Any help is appreciated.
