5 euro note error??

Hi, I got this €5 note in change and noticed that it was missing the silver strip on the right hand side,

and was wondering if anyone has come accross anything similar, I have been unable to find anything online,

is this an error in the printing process or can it be removed intentanilly, the note is in good condition otherwise, ie I doubt it is old enough to be worn of

Hello Donal,

I see that the note is ripped near to the silver strip. It is possible that somebody pulled it out of the note. Or it can be a fake note.

and there is no tear must be a shadow, if there are any other security features I could check I would be grateful if you would let me know,

Now it's clear to me. This is a misprint of the 5 euro banknote.

You can find it on this site but it is in the French language.

I've forwarded the picture and discription to the frence site as they did not have one on the site from The Nederlands

they have one from France & Italy

I will keep this thread posted of any news ie Value, rarity etc.
