wmedwards
Hi, I new to this forum and needed some help. I hope I picked the right category! I have had this Japanese(?) coin for a long time. I have recently searched the web and not found anything concrete. I did find one Japanese coin with similar inscription as that in the right photo; however, I have nothing close to left photo #1. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction or web links? Thanks in advance, William

ccg
A more standard reignal name would be Chia Ching or Jia Qing (depending on the romanization). "Jen Tsung" is the old Wade-Gilles romanization for the personal name of the Emperor, which normally wouldn't be used. It'd be like referring to QEII as "Lillibet"
