Saor Alba
Sicily, Syracuse AE from the time of Timoleon ca. 410 BC. This is a fairly decent sized AE coin that is about USA half dollar sized, but about three times as thick. They were cast coins, not struck. The obverse has a portrait of Artemis, and the reverse the two dolphins and the star.

(...unless you want me to go on about Timoleon himself, his life and times... ).
