kunanumis Posted February 11, 2011 Report Share Posted February 11, 2011 Dear colleagues, I found Romanian 2 bani coins dated 1882 and 1900 in "white" metal (like silver). According to SCWC both coins should be minted in copper. However, these coins are in silver-like metal. 2 bani 1882 - VF - weight: 1,89 g - SCWC says: 2 g 2 bani 1900 - XF- weight: 1,93 g - SCWC says: 1 g Anyone has idea what is this? Forgery maybe?
