Hi Martins --

This is a brass jeton or counter, not a coin, made in Germany during the reign of Louis XVI of France. German-made counters (or rechenpfennige) circulated widely in Western Europe, esp. France, starting as early as the 16th century. This one was made by Johann Christian Reich (1730-1814), who made a number of different jetons commemorating Louis XVI after his execution.

It's quite common and not worth much, especially in its ragged condition!

Here's a very good website for German jetons, showing a similar coin: MA Shops

There are a number of variants of these, all struck around 1791-1792:

1791 Louis XVI - Arbre

19mm

Hennin 268

and

1792 Louis XVI

967255.jpg

19.5mm

Hennin 386 (variant)

I paid a premium on the H. 268 (about $30 in today's market) but only about $8 for the other.
