Saor Alba Posted December 6, 2010 Report Share Posted December 6, 2010 They just sell the coins with such a ridiculous mark-up that I don't buy them and wait for them to come down in price later. After my miserable experience with the platinum ouncer a couple of years ago I gave up on buying stuff from the mint - with the exception of the Lincoln cent thingy last year when they minted the copper ones.
