lunchbox
I have two canadian 1906 quarters, one has medal orientation and one has coin orientation. My question is if this is normal or is one of them an error coin? sorry for such a silly question.
KoRnholio
Not a silly question at all. My book says all 1906 quarters should have a coinage die axis. Starting in 1908 they switched to medal die axis. There have been known to be some errors in other (later) years where a coinage axis was struck rather than a medal axis. I don't know how rare/uncommon a die axis error in the early 1900's might be.
