jtryka
Ok, tonight I won a coin in the coin club raffle, and when the pulled my ticket, all that were left wer 2 sacagawea dollars and a 1999-2000 Dutch 10-guilder coin. When I was in Amsterdam in 1996, there were no 10-guilder coins, only notes (I still have an unc one), so I thought this was some sort of commemorative and it might be silver. So any info would be helpful (I'd post a photo, but I am up to my limit in attachment space!). Thanks!
ccg
Yes, from the 1970s onwards silver NCLT 10G and 50G coins were issued. The earlier issues, particulary the 1972(?) 10G are rather common while the later ones were issued in fewer numbers.
jtryka
Do you know what the composition is? I found somewhere that it is 15 grams, but could not find much else. I have a few 5-euro NCLT coins and I think those were minted in sterling silver.
ccg
The 1970s 10G were .720 IIRC, not sure if these are any different.
