Saor Alba
I usually search 1-2 cent boxes a week, since my Indian cent(1901) find back in May I haven't really found a lot of earlies and even lower than average(10 per box) of wheats. Finally today I got a decent box, while at the grocery store I stopped by the in-store branch of my bank and asked if they had a box on a lark. The first roll opened showed definite progress - a 1911 and a 1943 steelie. The whole of the finds from the box: 1911 1918 1919-D 1923 1924 1925 1930 1936 1940 1941 1943 x 2 1943-D 1944-D 1946-D 1950-D 1956-D x 2 1957-D x 2 Canadians QEII YH 1956 1961 1963 1964 x 5 I have gotten 11 1943 steelies in the last year doing cent box searches. I am still floored that they will show up in rolled coins that have been machine counted and rolled - given that they are magnetic. The 1911 is a nice VF and the earliest I have gotten since the 1901 Indian back in May.
