bill Posted July 25, 2010 Report Share Posted July 25, 2010 Another medal for the research pile. It is a souvenir of the "Roman Revival" at the San Francisco Olympic Club, April 17 - 22, 1893. I'm guessing Augustus and Livia were portrayed by Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Schroeder. The Olympic Club is the oldest athletic club in America and is still an active, exclusive club. The Roman Revival recreated Circus Maximus and featured music. That's all I know for now, but I have it in my sights as I search out other topics.
