hiho
can someone tell me how to remove the middle bit of a bi metal £2 coin without damageing it I really don't think it's possible to remove the middle part without damage, but if you are hell-bent on doing it find someone with an ultrasonic cleaner and have them fill it with distilled water. Suspend the coin from the outer portion so none of the edges touch. Set the ultrasonic bath at high for about an hour and see if you can pop out the inner part afterwards. Probably won't work but safer than a hammer or gear puller.
Johnny 1989
I have a couple of Gibraltar £2 coins that if you shake them they rattle, seems the centre parts haven't quite moulded together properly.
