or2dee2
Hi I've come across a 1998 £2 coin, with the words "STANDING ON THE SHOULDERS OF GIANTS" around the milled edge, but in the T of THE the upright is missing only the crossbar is there, you can still see all the milling lines with no distortions where the upright may have been removed post minting. Now for the Question is it rare or is it the norm, I live in Ireland so don't come across many £2 coins to compare?
