Thanks, Sigi -- very nice collection here with reasonable estimates (IMHO). And spectacular coin photography! :ninja:

I only care for the large copper 5 and 10 kopeks and there I did not see anything for myself.

Good luck, Sigi

Dear Friends,

Welcome to our Two Weeks, 100 lots Mini Auction. Closing date April 24, 2010.

It is posted on our site under Current Sale:

http://www.rustypennies.com/catalog/sale.html

All 100 coins came from an old collection assembled in Baltimore area in 1960-1970. They have been kept in very nice condition and many coins have gorgeous patinas. Italian and Russian sections are exceptionally nice. A proof Nicholas I Monument does not come up for sale very often. Most coins are of 19 century, though some of the end of 18th and some of 20th.

In addition to all lots pictured and posted on our website, the coins also will be shown at our CICF table #112 and we will close the sale at 10:00 PM Central time on Saturday, April 24. The highest bidder will be able to pick up his coins following day, Sunday, April 25 or we’ll ship them to you.

The sale is conducted as any Mail Bid Sales, with the winner getting the items for one incremental step above the underbidder. The indicated value is the starting bid and we hope the sky is the limit for your actual bid. There is not much time to procrastinate, so please e-mail us the list of the lots and your maximum bids for them as soon as you can. We will be working the show in Chicago from April 22 through April 25th, so e-mail us, call early if you have a question or leave a message and we will return your call late at night, after the show ends.

Good luck bidding.

Alexander Basok

1799EM Polushka is fake in my opinion. Altered 9.

thank you Steve, last "9" in a date 1799 does not match with known pieces so I join to a company of two of us - fake :ninja:
