afornaini
Good morning. I am a new user on this forum. I need your help, please. Today I bought some Canadian tokens, some are in good condition. I don't know anything about Canadian tokens.. Two of them are in a good XF condition, according to me. The first is a 1844 half penny, it says "Province of Canada - Bank of Montreal", the second is a 1854 penny, and it says "Bank of upper Canada". Can I ask if they are worth something? Thank you for the support!
ccg
Definately! I don't have a reference handy so I'll let someone else answer. I'd guess $20 give or take for each.
hiho
In good condition (XF or better) your tokens are easily worth $20 each, probably more. Certain Newfoundland tokens are worth hundreds of dollars each.
afornaini
Thank you for your replies. Let me post a picture: How would you grade this token? I live in Italy, the grading scale we use is different from yours. Thank you
