Art Salmons
I received two 2010 Presidential proof sets today and one is perfect and the second has a surface problem on two of the coins. The Lincoln and the Pierce dollars have noticeable bubbling on the surface of the coin in the fields adjacent to the bust on the obverse. I tried to scan this to show it but was unable to clearly show this. My question is has anyone else experienced this and is it worth sending them back to the mint for coins without the bubbles. UncleBobo
It is worth sending the set back. The mint makes it very easy to make returns and they have always gotten a new item out to me pretty quickly.
