Art Salmons
I received these two pennies and a 4 pence today for my type set. The Pennies are both nice examples and they will fit into my collection nicely. The scan of the 1831 has something weird going on in the date area but it's clear under a magnifying glass. 1826 penny 1831 penny 1800 4 Pence or Croat

Ætheling
Actually for me the golden period of modern British coins has got to be the late post-1824 George IV and William IV coins, extremely intricate designs, it kinda petered out when Victoria came along, although it would pick up again from 1887 onwards, Victorian old head silver reverses in particular are quite something.
