Mark Stilson
If it is the same spam as sent out to other forums it links to a exe file which tries to upload to your computer. Possible virus. The spammer is hitting a lot of forums .

Art
I've tried to block their account and the system says that it is blocked but I'm guessing that it's not working. I've asked Anton to delete it completely and to block future accounts from that address.

I am sure others have seen this as well, there is a mass post (pornographic) on to many forums on this site by someone who may be a veteran user. These posts should be removed ASAP. akdrv
many forums on this site by someone who may be a veteran user. Could you please let me know what user ID was used in this spam attack. I'd like to make sure that it was not a hijacked account.

Sorry, I didn't make a note of it. Looks like all offending posts have now been removed and I know no way of getting that user name. The reason I said "veteran" user is, under the username the tag was "Practically running the Place", whereas I am identified just as "Member" (was "Just got here" a few weeks ago). Art
I didn't receive any notices about bad posts nor do I see anything that has been deleted. So what happened? George, if you got the notices you must be listed as a moderator for that particular forum.

I think the spammer made fast enough run of 20 posts to get that "Practically running the Place". You just got yours at 20 posts.
