SMS Posted January 25, 2010 Report Share Posted January 25, 2010 It is a copy of a gold penny (worth 20 pence face value) introduced by King Henry III of England in 1257. Other than that, I have no other information on it. The reverse of the real coin, however, would have been quartered by a cross with another legend.
