elverno
1814 The Restoration of the Bourbon Dynasty, Great Britain. 25mm - Details - R After a lot of debate the Bourbons were finally restored to the throne of France after Napoleon's first abdication. This British medal reflects the fact that to the English is was a done deal that Louis would regain the throne. This is probably because he spent many years in England and generally was considered a "gentleman". Other countries such as Austria and Russia weren't so sure.
