satootoko
Funny, funny, funny. I hadn't realized that the Japan Mint was issuing Chinese good luck charms when they struck ¥50 coins and dated them Showa 52 (1977). Actually it's not very funny for the poor sucker who is paying $8.20 w/SH, for a cu-ni coin with a mintage of 176-million, worth no more than $3 or so uncirculated. sandy3075
It is a pity that there is a plenty of misleading sellers on eBay who are intentionally or out of ignorance misrepresent what they sell. I can't entirely blame them for trying to make a few bucks, but this is putting collectors like myself, who may have no other way of selling their extras and duplicates, at disadvantage. If one knows of a good place to sell coins for collectors, please share .
