sigistenz
I met Tom Bakken in Munich. He told me that the coins in the Bakken sale were not his complete Russia collection. He is still hunting Russian coins. His new book, a Brekke/Bakken update, will be due in the next months. As to Mr Brekke himself, he is well and lives in Copenhagen. squirrel
Glad to hear Mr Brekke is doing well! and a new supplement will be on my list for the holidays if its out in time! (not that Mrs squirrel reads this forum...but its a hint) I suspected this sale was some "housekeeping", based on the range of material, and the really good stuff is still tucked away safe and sound! Sigi I am glad that the trythfulness being confirmed that his collection auctioned at Gorny is not his complete collection - it was so obvious and the very first my impression and a friend of mine - since online catalog was available
