Good question. I thought the 1-8 thing was a cud but it doesn't look right. As you said, the high wire rim is odd too. I can't wait to see what people say.

Not a coin, but a token. There were lots of Irish tokens during the 19th Century. Sadly I haven't more info about it.

Well I think this is one just to hang onto :ninja: as I haven't even got into this area, will be looking out for more about these coins in the future..
