Chrissybe
Hi, my son-in-law has just inherited many coins and medals, one is a Russian enamelled 1897 coin, mounted on what looks like a silver broach , it is reversable also, does anyone know what it is or if it is valuble? He has asked me to sell most of the coins and things on ebay but I have no clue to the value of this - HELP!

I like it better this way.
sturzny
I am certainly no expert on these types of items, but I do know that a couple of years ago Stacks in New York auctioned off a number of these enameled-coins-as-jewelry items and they brought some pretty nice prices, some well into the hundreds of dollars. Chrissybe
Think I'll put it on ebay and hope for the best, I'll let you know how it goes - (here is the other side of it)
gxseries
There's nothing to be depressed about jewellery Russian coins - they suprisingly bring crazy amount of money and I reckon it will sell more than what an average grade Nikolai II ruble would go for. Good luck and hopefully it will sell at a good price.
