Napoleon Communion Token

Recommended Posts

Hello all

Sorry I posted this in the World Coins section earlier. Anyway, I am hoping someone can tell me if this token was really a souvenir of Napoleon's communion. Who was this given to? Did Napoleon himself handle this token once? And is it worth anything? Thank you. Date on coin says 7 May 1868

Cheers

Alex

Welcome Alex, it is a genuine souvenir of Napoleon IV. He would not have handled it & it is probably worth between $10-$20 in my humble opinion.

It has previously been mounted to hang from a ribbon etc, note flattened area above the head, and probably worn to the communion service.

See my previous post below.
