Do I have this right - Ed III 1/4D?

Recommended Posts

Unfortunately not. The obverse legend clearly starts with "+ HENRI..." so this looks to be Henry VI. What is the diameter of this piece as it looks to be a halfpenny of the Leaf-Pellet Issue at a quick glance.

The 'Edward III Farthing' looks to be a Henry VI Halfpenny of the Cross-Pellet Issue, London mint.

The Commonwealth coin is indeed a halfgroat. It reads II above the two shields which tells the denomination. Nice couple of coins Matt!

Wimbledon coverage says it is in the 80s there. That's not hot!
