Okay, I'm stumped. Is that a question or is that a type coin?

 

From Wikipedia:

 

The as (plural asses), also assarius (rendered into Greek as ἀσσάριον, assarion)[1] was a bronze, and later copper, coin used during the Roman Republic and Roman Empire.

 

Ancient, Bronze/copper European, not a sesterii, probably in RIC --- could be an as.

I got the clues, but I didn't associate them with my own avatar! Too close to home! :ninja:

 

 

I was looking thru your coins and saw that one. Caught my eye. I was kind of hoping someone would ask something around "Would it be recognized?" Maybe something similar.
