A nice, if somewhat busy Conder marred by the obverse stain. There's a bit of weakness in the strike about 9 o'clock on the reverse. I like the sort of cartoonish man busy making flax. Without the legend to tell you that's what he's up to I would have said he's doing something very strange to a dead chicken...

Agree about the chicken and the cartoonish man, busy but at least a lot of historical info, I like it. Great write up on your site.

 

On the token it is spelt heckling not hackling, I guess either is correct.
