MattV Posted May 26, 2009 Report Share Posted May 26, 2009 I found this dime, it looks like it's been double stamped or something. I don't know much about coins so I came here to see if anyone could tell what this is. The back looks like a regular dime except the engravings are faint, and it is smooth, almost completely flat. The front has all the regular markings but also the markings of the back of a dime. The extra ones are at an angle and backwards. It looks as if it had a dime smashed on top of it. Any thoughts? Mark Stilson Posted May 26, 2009 Report Share Posted May 26, 2009 Hard to tell with the size of the pictures but since it was backwards and one side seems flattened I think it post mint damage.
