Ian
Silver jetons were struck for and issued at the Conventions of the French Clergy. I've collected a few of these along with ones issued for the various churches and cathedral of Paris. My latest addition is from the 1690 convention. I've also postedo ne from the 1735 convention. frank
I'm sure you have this one Ian, from 1650 (F 3934).
Ian
Neat! I don't have that one Frank. The only others i have in that series are a 1745 one with Louis XV bust obverse and a later octagonal one (approx 1784) with Louis XVI bust obverse. I'll try to get these scanned at the weekend.
