DeMint
Please help me to identify these coins. I suppose #1 is an Ancient Rus’ or Byzantine coin and #2 is of Khorezm Republic. Am I right and how rare are the coins? Thank you.

DeMint
I don't think so. These coins were collected by my father and he died in 1964 in the former USSR. Maybe just a weary one.

I does not mean that a collection had no fakes. First coin is NOT under Ancient Rus' in all authorized references I have, so you can post it in WORLD COINS link unless some familiar here with Byzantine coinage. For me, it looks like just came out from one of Crimea flea-market. I have someone came from there last year and said that in Simferopol and other cities in Crimea these can be found for sale which I got some pieces too like yours.
