The 47-D came from an ebay seller. I paid a bit more for it that I normally might have but the color is super - blast white. Not spots and a good strong strike.

Here are a few Roosevelts that I've added to my Registry Sets since the last update.

As usual these are the sellers photos and frankly some of them are not too great. I don't have all of the coins yet and so they're not all registered in my sets yet. Currently my NGC sets are:

NGC Roosevelt Set - Circulation Strikes --- Rank 46th 29% complete

NGC Roosevelt Set - Proofs --- Rank 57th 77% complete

PCGS Roosevelt Set - Circulation Strikes --- Rank 15th 24% complete.

PCGS Roosevelt Set - Proofs --- Rank 43rd 34% complete

It's amazing how a 24% complete set can rank 15th.... Shows you how much love this series needs!

Great coins, Art. Thanks for sharing.

So true. I'm also amazed that on PCGS a set with 24% compete can rank 15th while on NGC (almost the same set) with 29% complete ranks 46th. Seems like a lot more folks who care about Roosies are posting sets on NGC. I can understand this from an asthetics perspective. I think the NGC slabbed Roosie presents a far nicer appearance than the PCGS slabbed coin.

Well here's my newest Roosie addition. It's a very nice 1999-2 PR69DCAM. I've added it to my Registry Sets and so now it will hang around on my desk for a week or so and then off to the bank.

Picked this up this week for my PCGS Registry Set.

Seller's photo - not the best but the coin is superb.

Thought you guys might enjoy this one. This is the most worn (non-mutilated) Roosie I have ever found. And only 11 years old!

That little guy has certainly seen some use.

Here are the Roosevelts that I got at the end of last week.

Bad pics. Great coins. The 90S slab is marked up but the scratches aren't deep.

Got this one in change the other day. It's a suprisingly strong strike. So many of the clad roosies seem to be weakly struck. Especially noticeable as the last digit of the date disappears into the rim. Not so with this one - wish I could have snagged it fresh out of a roll.

Another snag from circulation last week - misaligned reverse die. Notice the slightly off center - but only the reverse. Definitely not a collar error but a misaligned die. Small enough to notice and large enough to keep - hey it's not much of an investment risk :ninja:

The "D" looks like it has a shot at FB.

I don't have the eyesight for that; here's larger scans, though. The fields are absolutely satiny.

A few new Roosevelts for the Registry sets.

This is a late die strike. The dies were obviously polished a number of times before they got around to this little gem. It does however have a very pleasing appearance.

The pictures don't do this coin justice. It's quite nice and well worthy of the MS66 PCGS gave it.

Beautiful cameo on this coin.
