NumisMattic2200
Got this from auction with all the other interesting pieces I have been showing here. On the packet it says "Edward IV" and "Durham" Now someone is telling me this isn't Ed IV because he had no shillings. Okay so who is it then? constanius
Could be Edward VI (easy to put the I the wrong side of the V) if so the D would be for Durham House I think. Durham House - This was the Palace of the Bishop of Durham in London, situated along what is now the Strand. It was in operation as a mint in the reign of Edward VI from 1548-1549.
