sgard
There are number of banknotes from Latvia with Krause catalogue prices ( for UNC ) under real face value: 1) 100 Lati 1992 - 150$ ( real face value 187 US$) 2) 500 Lati 1992 - 625$ ( real face value 939 US$) 3) 10 Lati 2000 - 17,50$ ( real face value 18,79 US$) 4) 20 Lati 2004 - 32,50$ ( real face value 37,50 US$) 5) 100 Lati 2006 - 125$ ( real face value 187 US$) What is the reason? All banknotes are in circulation, useful for payments, and you can to have dollars, euros, or something else for that in financial establishments in Latvia. Is the same with banknotes of other countries, too?
