ishar
Hi all. I joined the forum in the hope that someone can help me with this coin. I can't find it mentioned anywhere. The denomination is 1 penny, george VI, 19mm, (same size as a half sovereign) 3.2 grams, 9ct gold. Is it maundy money? Before it was confirmed 9ct gold I looked for this coin as both a base metal and gold, can't find anything on the net. Any ideas?

Your pictures are small but to it doesn't look like an officially (Royal Mint) produced coin. I would guess most likely a fantasy peice or one made for use in jewelry. gxseries
I have to disagree about the restrike bit. It's NOT an official production from the mint, hence struck by some private company.
