Might I hear from the members as to originality, grade, etc. Thanks Newbie Mark, Well, what immediately struck me was the fact that it has been mounted on a brooch. This can be clearly seen at 3 and 9 O'clock on the reverse and, to a lesser extent, on the obverse. The reverse has, ergo, been rather badly damaged at those points. It appears genuine and has an unusual spot of extreme wear at the base of the reverse. It is an aesthetically pleasing coin which I would grade just below VF. If it were not for the patch of wear and mounting this would be very close to VF as the portrait is clear. Clive. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
