tqc2002
Hi all, I'm looking for 1995 - The 50th Anniversary of the Great Victory coins and also the 1996 - The 300th Anniversary of the Engsian Fleet coins. I wonder if they are only in sets or can i buy them seperatly one by one? How much they should cost? both sets. I have just came across them and I thought why not collecting them also - should I do that or not? ( for now I'm not collecting the Olimpic coins But maybe in the future I'll collect them - is there a reason not to collect these sets?) Another thing (not a coin topic - But maybe some of you can help me with that): it's about Banknotes from Russia: I have just started to collect Banknotes and I start to collect Russian Bank notes from 1917 and north till today. Since I'm new - I wonder if there is a guide for Bank note collecting? I'm also looking for a RUSSIAN Bank note cataloge? is there one online? Conros maybe? Please help In order to collect bank notes from Russia I need to know when they Published bank notes and with what nomination - is there a place to see that? I know that I have lots of questions - I would be glad to get them all answered Thanks in advanced TQ
gxseries
Hi TQ, as far as I am aware, both the 1995 and 1996 coins came as mintsets like these two on ebay: WWII: http://cgi.ebay.com/RUSSIA-6-Coins-Mint-Se...%3A1%7C294%3A50 Ships: http://cgi.ebay.com/1996-Russia-300-Years-...%3A1%7C294%3A50 As for banknote catalog, you might want to check out with David (if I didn't get his name wrong) under valeriyavaleriya71 in ebay. This catalog seems to be good but I never own it as I don't really collect banknotes. http://cgi.ebay.com/ENCYCLOPEDIA-OF-RUSSIA...34.c0.m14.l1262

That's http://antikvarius.com.ua and there is an English language option by clicking on the little Union Jack. I have ordered books from him and I was very pleased that they arrived in excellent condition, well packed and surprisingly quickly.
