Drusus Posted March 3, 2009 Report Share Posted March 3, 2009 It looks to me like coinage from the Great Rebellion 1643-1644 here is an example of coinage from that time: your is obviously different and I have never seen one like yours. ScottO Posted March 3, 2009 Report Share Posted March 3, 2009 there were a few differant types though, the ormonde was 1643 which is the 2nd picture but there were town pieces from 1645-7 there was a 6D from cork in that period, but i have no idea what it looks like.
