Can you see most or all of the fine detail in Balboa's helmet? If so, you probably have an extremely fine (XF) or better coin. The catalog price of a 1934 in XF is $50 but you are not likely to get that since the community of Panama collectors is rather small. Maybe $20-30 if you are lucky. In less than XF condition you are talking a little more than silver bullion value if there are no serious problems, maybe $6-7. In true uncirculated condition a 1934 medio is quite scarce and would probably be worth several hundred dollars but it's not likely you have one of those. Hope this helps.
