Nice web site. But just how many people from India do you know that collect coins? If they are there, they can probably find their own web sites. And unless your from there, know a lot about thier coins, why look here for info on coins from India? I'm also not to sure coins from India are easily available here in the USA. I'll write this down in case I ever go there.

Interesting site! I wish it went back to 1945. We have a 1/4 Indian rupee with what looks like a 'tw' under the date. Do you have any idea what that means? I've had it since the 1950s when I was a kid. It came in one of those infamous a bag of "coins from around the world" that were advertised in the back of magazines.
