28Plain
I just bought a Weimar Republic 1927A 5 mark, the one with the oak tree on the reverse. Is the Krause value of $90.00 in VF about right? I saw several 1928s on ebay priced much higher and I thought the 1927 was the higher valued year in all mintmarks. Does anyone know about the actual current value for this coin in VF+ or XF? I've begun to lose faith in Krause estimated values somewhat.

28Plain
Thanks, NumisMattic. Once I had some examples to compare, I upgraded my estimate of the one I bought to XF. It's listed on ebay currently. The archives site is very helpful . I wish I had known about it sooner, because I seem to have grossly underpriced some of the coins I sold this summer.
