Good book on British private coinage, 1775-1850

Recommended Posts

An interesting history of the brief rise of private coinage in late 18th / early 19th century Britain, relating to the work of Birmingham button makers who developed private mints for coining the needed small change in silver and copper. There's a chapter on the Boulton Copper.
