One of two coins missing from my type set. Nice coin, janneen! I don't know much about this series, but I suppose it isn't a common date? I think that most collectors who are trying to complete a set, the closer they get to completion, the higher prices they are willing to pay just to close the holes! But this is completely natural, and probably the way it should be. I recently bid much too much money on a Nicholas II quarter rouble 1896 in the last UBS auction ... estimate was only CHF 150, and I thought it might go for CHF 400 or 500 ... so I bid (write-in bid, max.) CHF 1000, but was overbid! You never know how things will turn out.

One of two coins missing from my type set. good year + condition. Almost never see those 2 together A proof strike of this year is impossible. So, a very good buy. I still remember when you could get it for $50. I bought my ugly 1839 for $10. Those days are long gone.
