Hm... I sort of expected, but still, this is very encouraging. Especially when you are just starting with this hobby.

The silver coins might be genuine - don't see anything obvious that are fake at the moment.

Whether the seller's silver coins are genuine or not is unimportant to me.

 

The copper coins are immediately obvious, transparent fakes. If the seller truly doesn't know that they are fakes then, in my opinion, he is a clearly incompetent numismatist. For that reason, I do not wish to do business with him.

 

If, on the other hand, he does know that they are fakes, then that strongly suggests to me that he has serious ethical deficiencies (which again lead me to not want to do business with him).

 

Either way, whether through ignorance or questionable business ethics, this someone whom I prefer to avoid (no matter what he is peddling).
